1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember choices you have made, and in some cases to track behaviour across sites. Related technologies such as localStorage do a similar job and are covered by the same rules, so we treat them the same way here.

2. The four categories

• Analytics — measure how visitors use the site so it can be improved. These require your consent.

3. What this site actually sets

This is the complete list for this website as currently built:

• PHPSESSID — strictly necessary. A session cookie set by our server. It holds the security token that protects our forms against cross-site request forgery, and briefly holds your form entries if a submission fails validation so we can show them back to you. It expires when you close your browser and contains no personal information itself.
• bf_cookie_consent — functional. Stored in your browser's localStorage, not as a cookie. It records whether you pressed Accept or Reject on the cookie notice so we do not show it on every page. It stays until you clear your browser storage and contains only the word "accept" or "reject".

We currently set no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no advertising pixel, no social media tracker and no third-party script of any kind. Every asset this page loads — fonts, styles, scripts, images — is served from our own domain, so no third party is contacted when you visit.

If that changes we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting anything in those categories.

4. Changing or withdrawing your consent

Because we set nothing that requires consent, rejecting optional cookies does not change what is stored — the notice simply stops appearing. To reset your choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the notice will appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser. Every major browser lets you do this from its privacy or site-data settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent our forms from submitting, because the security token they depend on cannot then be stored.

5. Cookies set by other people

If you follow a link from this site to an airline, a payment provider or any other external website, that site sets its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over those and this policy does not cover them.
